Re-Leashing Yourself

True freedom doesn’t come from living on the edge of what’s permissible. It doesn’t live at the end of a leash, restrained by compromise or worldly influence. Freedom is found in Christ—through trust, surrender, and the breaking of chains and shackles.

In Christ, we are free not just from sin, but for righteousness. That means some things may be “allowed,” but they aren’t good for us (1 Corinthians 10:23). Even neutral things—shows, habits, relationships—can become chains if they keep us numb, distracted, or disconnected from God.

Spiritual Spring Cleaning

When we entertain things that pull us away from Christ—whether blatantly sinful or deceptively neutral—we’re giving spiritual forces legal access to our hearts and homes. Repeated engagement becomes agreement. Agreement opens doors. Doors lead to strongholds.

Ask yourself honestly:
•Does this glorify sin, nothing, or righteousness?
•Does this make me feel clean, or convicted?
•Is this helping me grow with God, or pulling me away?

Sometimes, we’re not just leaving the door open to the enemy—we’re rolling out the red carpet.

Guard Your House

“Do not give the devil a foothold.” — Ephesians 4:27 (NIV)

The choices we make in what we watch, say, join in, or remain silent about, determine whether our spiritual house is guarded or vulnerable. It’s time for a holy reset.

What To Do:
1.Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas in your life that need cleansing.
2.Repent and renounce any open doors. Secure your spiritual house!
3.Replace what you removed with godly habits and truths.
4.Reach out for prayer and deliverance if you feel stuck, addicted, or tormented.

Why the Church Matters

You need godly connection. Church is not just a service; it’s a place where your spirit is sharpened, your soul encouraged, and your mind renewed. The enemy wants you isolated—but God has called you into community.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for calling me into a life of freedom—a freedom that comes not from the world, but through trust in Jesus Christ. I confess that I have sometimes allowed things into my life that don’t honor You. Whether sinful or seemingly harmless, I recognize how easily they can pull me away from Your presence.

Search my heart, Lord. Show me the doors I’ve left open—through what I’ve agreed with, watched, entertained, or tolerated. I choose today to repent and renounce anything that has taken root and does not belong. I ask You to help me close every door that gives the enemy access.

Holy Spirit, fill every empty place. Replace what was broken with wholeness. Replace what was false with truth. Replace distraction with devotion.

I want to walk in freedom—not just in word, but in power. Help me guard my heart, fix my focus, and stay connected to You daily. Thank You for loving me enough to pull the chain and call me back.
