ARTICLE I – NAME
The name of this corporation (church) is Destiny City.
The corporate office shall be located in Rowan County, North Carolina.

ARTICLE II – PURPOSE
The purpose of this corporation (church) shall be to:
1.Lead people to call upon Jesus Christ as their Savior and to take Him as their role model for daily life.
2.Minister the Word of God and propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ by every means possible.
3.Plant, establish, operate, and oversee churches, missions, evangelistic programs, schools, Christian training centers, colleges, universities, clinics, hospitals, orphanages, nursing and retirement centers, adoption centers, institutions helping to meet social needs, seminars, conferences, and any other medium helpful in teaching the doctrines of the Christian faith and furthering the growth and expansion thereof throughout the world.
4.Raise up, equip, and resource leadership for the church of today and tomorrow.
5.Conduct regular religious worship services through various forms of ministry.
6.Promote and encourage cooperation with other organizations ministering within the community.
7.Spread the Gospel through seminars, conferences, radio, television, internet, printed material, and other forms of mass media.
8.Conduct local and international church ministry by the direction of the Lord Jesus Christ and under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, in accordance with all provisions set forth in the Holy Bible.
9.Maintain facilities to carry out the work of ministry both locally and abroad.
10.License, ordain, and commission qualified individuals as Christian ministers and workers, including graduates of ministerial schools, both nationally and internationally.
11.Establish Bible colleges, ministry training centers, and church schools both domestically and internationally.
12.Provide fellowship, encouragement, spiritual guidance, and counsel.
13.Provide services for ministers and churches that they cannot easily provide for themselves.
14.Encourage and support both national and international missions and missionaries.
15.Act as trustee under any trust incidental to the principal objectives of the Corporation and to receive, hold, administer, and expend funds and property subject to such trust.
16.Enter into, make, perform, and carry out contracts of every kind for any lawful purpose, without limitation as to amount, and with any person, firm, association, or corporation.
17.Acquire, purchase, own, hold, use, manage, improve, develop, lease, sell, exchange, or otherwise dispose of real estate and interests therein, and to enter into obligations with any person, firm, corporation, or governmental entity for the erection, construction, alteration, repair, improvement, development, or management of buildings or structures wherever located.
18.Acquire, own, hold, use, sell, assign, transfer, exchange, or otherwise dispose of personal property of every kind and description, without limitation as to amount or location.
19.Borrow and loan money; give and receive evidence of indebtedness; execute promissory notes, warrants, and other instruments; and secure obligations of the Corporation by mortgage, deed of trust, or other lawful means.
20.Perform all acts necessary or expedient for the administration of the affairs and attainment of the purposes of the Corporation and to exercise all powers conferred by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and any other state in which this Fellowship may be incorporated.
21.Maintain a fellowship for the encouragement, education, oversight, and coordination of ministers, ministries, and churches.
22.Pursue and maintain fellowship or affiliation with national or international organizations for the purpose of furthering the Gospel.
23.Conduct its ministries and business in any country in the world.
Construction of Purposes
The several clauses contained in this statement of purposes shall be construed as both purposes and powers. Each clause shall be regarded as an independent purpose and power and shall not be construed as limiting any other clause. The enumeration of specific purposes and powers shall not be held to restrict the general powers of the Corporation.

ARTICLE III – STATEMENT OF FAITH
1.We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
2.We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3.We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory.
4.We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
5.We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
6.We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of spiritual gifts.
