What are DCC Life-Connect Groups? 

At Destiny City Church, Life-Connect Groups are designed to help people grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and experience authentic fellowship. Meeting in homes, coffee shops, restaurants, the church, and other welcoming settings, these groups provide opportunities to connect, encourage one another, and grow through discussions centered on Jesus and God’s Word. Life-Connect Groups help move us from simply attending church to building genuine, Christ-centered relationships. If you desire deeper fellowship and connection, we invite you to become part of a Life-Connect Group.

Ways to Get Connected
1. Sunday School – Every Sunday at 9:30 AM
2. Monday Prayer Group – Led by Eydie Hinnant, 1st & 3rd Mondays, 1:30 PM
3. Wednesday Night Family Connect – Adult Class, Youth Group, and Kids Club, Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
4. Iron Men – 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month, 8:30 AM
5. Man Church – 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month, 6:30 PM
6. FEASTABLES Women’s Fellowship – 2nd & 4th Mondays of each month, 6:00–7:30 PM
7. Life-Connect Home Group – Led by Lynn & Denise Koontz, Tuesdays at 7:00 PM
8. Table of Hospitality Home Group – Led by Chuck & Janice White, Saturdays at 10:00 AM
9. Celebrate Recovery – Fridays at 5:45 PM
10. PTSD Support Group – 1st & 3rd Sundays, 5:00–6:30 PM

If none of these opportunities seem like the right fit, remember—you can always start your own group! Jesus said, “Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).

If you’re interested in launching a new group, our leadership team would be happy to help you get started by sharing ideas, resources, and what has worked for us. The Lord may even give you a unique vision for a new ministry that helps others connect, grow, and experience authentic Christian community.

Life-Connect Group Overseers & Facilitators 
Lynn and Denise Koontz serve as Life Group overseers with a genuine heart for the body of Christ. They are passionate about seeing the church grow through meaningful relationships and small groups that help people connect, grow, and walk out their faith together. Known for their incredible hospitality, they are some of the warmest and most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. Take time to get to know them, and if you’re interested in starting a small group, they would love to connect with you and help you get started.
